Install and Run WinXP from a USB drive

當工程師, 常要處理很多可以開機, 但進不去OS的電腦。
WIN-PE 可以從光碟開機, 進去WIN-PE, 也提供一些好用的工具, 但是, 不能自行新增/移除軟體(好吧, 是我懶得去研究), 有時候進入OS後, 還是有種施不上力的感覺

如果可以把WINXP安裝在USB DEVICE中, 由USB BOOT 進入OS, 那麼, 就可以有很大的彈性了.
這邊是找到的連結和說明, 先貼上來. 實作後, 再POST上自己的心得(搞不好要等個半年...as usual~~)

if your PC can boot using USB, then you don't need the CD drive to install OS. follow these EZ steps:

1. compile the OS installer into .iso format;
2. extract the .iso file into your usb (you may even use an archiver [i use winrar]);
3. boot and watch!
